Movement and Mindfullness for Stronger Bones
Join us on Sunday, May 18, for Ruck + Reflect, a unique two-part experience that blends physical activity with restorative recovery. We'll kick off at 10:00 AM with a rucking walk through Riverside Park—a low-impact, weightbearing exercise ideal for bone health. Then, from 11:00–11:30 AM, wind down with a guided meditation session enhanced by the BioCharger at OsteoStrong Upper West.
Come for one or both parts of this energizing morning!

Meet This Month's Awesome Hosts!
Daryl Davis is a fitness and wellness professional with over 20 years of experience and a national certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. With an academic background in Exercise Science, he is dedicated to helping individuals enhance physical performance, bone health, and overall well-being through evidence-based strategies. Daryl leads programs at OsteoStrong Westfield and BCFE Wellness Solutions, specializing in skeletal loading and bridging the gap between traditional strength training and innovative bone health modalities. Known for his practical, results-oriented approach and passion for education, Daryl is a respected voice on muscle strength, skeletal resilience, and holistic wellness
OSTEOSTRONG WESTFIELD
Jon graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in exercise science. He first pursued postural alignment therapy through The Egoscue Method as a means to improve performance as an ice hockey goaltender. From there his interest grew, and he eventually brought The Egoscue Method theories to his work as a personal trainer and exercise physiologist. He's worked with clients of all ages and ability levels, including United States Paralympic athletes.

Dr. Josh Handt is a second-generation chiropractor and Certified Functional Nutrition and Medicine Practitioner. He empowers individuals to reclaim health through chiropractic care and personalized nutrition. A Palmer College of Chiropractic graduate, he emphasizes the body's innate healing potential. Dr. Handt integrates functional medicine and lifestyle modifications into his practice, focusing on holistic wellness. He's committed to drug-free, natural health solutions, drawing from his upbringing in a chiropractic family. He is also a New York State Board member for the Chiropractic Profession.
Olga Barashihina, originally from Latvia, moved to New York in 2003 and is an accomplished International Ballroom and Latin DanceSport competitor, coach, and adjudicator. Her titles include World Cup International Latin finalist (1998–1999), Latvian Champion (2000), Czech Vice-Champion (2002), and U.S. Grand Finalist (2004). She’s also a Showdance winner and American Smooth World Finalist. In 2008, she was featured in the Ohio Star Ball’s America’s Ballroom Challenge. Olga received the Fred Astaire Freddy Award for Top Female Teacher (2010–2012) and placed 3rd in 2015–2016. She’s also modeled for Avant Garde magazine and ranked as a 10K marathoner.

Zeena Gupta, owner of the OsteosStrong Upper West Center, comes from 20 years of public accounting, and technology in the corporate and business world, has since moved into the health and wellness space – her lifetime passion. Zeena's mission is empowering women to stay strong, active, and confident well into their 80s, 90s, and beyond!
